这次经历是我在进ICU之前的一次难忘的手术经历，它也是首次让我对这里医疗技术大开眼界和对本地医生产生敬佩之心的开始。
B有着亚裔的面部特征，二十七、八，一口纯正的澳式英语，行为举止沉稳、大方，和他谈话非常的舒服和愉快，条理清晰，思路敏捷，短短的十几分钟交谈下来，我对他建立起了信任感，有这样的surgeon 给我做手术无疑是给我打强心针。
在此之前B 和我见了两次面，第一次主要任务是讲述手术的步骤，风险，和签手术同意书。然后他问我如果摘除的活体有多，是否愿意贡献出来，问清楚那些多余的活体量后，我在那张贡献书上也签了字。即取之于民（享受纳税人的钱和这里的医疗服务），就应回报于民（回馈对医学研究可能有研究价值的那么点点组织），何况自己也就顺带变的多取那么一点点。
看过那长长的手术风险以后不可能没有一丝遐想，了解到手术只是局部麻醉后，我预料到自己在清醒的状态下会紧张。
理智告诉我只有接受，多想积极的方面，以乐观的心态去面对。
在B走后，我上网查了我想知道的关于这个手术的相关信息；打电话给我那个理性得不得了、情商时正时负的老公倾述倾述；再跟护士商量由于明天有这个手术，晚上能否早点给我做obs, 让我能早点睡。做好所有这些后，我再无事可做......
那一夜是在忐忑不安、用理智强行控制自己不去多想中睡着的。
